Kim Sheldon, CP APMP launched PROPOSALand to help Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) firms elevate their proposal strategy and stand out in a competitive market. PROPOSALand is a woman-owned small business offering boutique-style help for AEC firms' proposal departments by providing freelance proposal management expertise when in-house professionals are at capacity. Kim’s career began in a construction office providing administrative support and contract review. The jobsite environment sparked her interest in the industry. That led her to earn a degree in Construction Science from Texas A&M University and build a career helping firms win work through thoughtful, strategic proposals.  

There were many years in Kim’s career when she could not see beyond the next deadline and she needed to work weekends just to keep her head above water. Over time, she shifted her schedule to not only focus on work, but also engage in community efforts.
