Building PROPOSALand: The Backstory

Kim’s career began in a construction office providing administrative support and contract review. The jobsite environment sparked her interest in the industry. That led her to earn a degree in Construction Science from Texas A&M University and build a career helping firms win work through thoughtful, strategic proposals. 

Kim has more than 20 years of experience in proposal management. After graduating with her Construction Science degree, she realized she didn’t actually want to build buildings: she wanted to build stories. In her corporate days, working long hours and late nights in the estimating or marketing departments, she wished for just one more person on the team. She wanted someone that could either handle the list of quick proposal-related tasks or take a full proposal package off her plate. Then she realized she could be that person for AEC proposal teams. 

In June 2021, PROPOSALand was born.
